Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, says consultations with religious and civic institutions remain essential to shaping a future that works for all residents.
Hamzat stated this during a visit to the Jama’at Islamiyyah Society of Nigeria, where he met with Hajia Ramlat Okunola, Hajia Wonu Folami and other members of the community.
He said religious and civic institutions have continued to play important roles in the development of Lagos, stressing the need to seek their counsel and partnership.
According to the Deputy Governor, the Lagos PROMISE is centred on putting people first and building on the progress already achieved in the state.
He called for continued support and partnership as the administration works towards taking Lagos to greater heights.
