Heavy rainfall has caused severe waterlogging at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, disrupting passenger movement and affecting flight operations.
Videos and images from the airport showed travellers wading through floodwater and pushing luggage trolleys towards terminal gates.
The heavy downpour also prompted Delhi Airport and airlines, including IndiGo, to advise passengers to check their flight status and allow extra time for their journeys.
The India Meteorological Department issued warnings for heavy rain, thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds across the capital, with further rainfall expected through the evening and possible traffic disruptions in several parts of Delhi-NCR.
