Hon. Sani Sha’aban, Danburan Zazzau and Barden Keffi, has officially stepped down from the race for the Kaduna North (Zone One) Senate seat and declared his support for the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajuddeen Abbas.
In a statement released by his family and signed by Ahmad Bamalli, it was confirmed that the decision to withdraw was taken in the interest of the family. The statement emphasized that Hon. Sha’aban remains committed to the ideals of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and will continue to support the party’s success in Kaduna State and across Nigeria.
It further noted that he will not be pursuing any other political position in the state, as he remains loyal and ready to contribute meaningfully to the growth and stability of the party.
The statement also affirmed his full support for any candidate endorsed by the APC for the Senate seat in the zone, while calling on his supporters, party members, and the people of Kaduna North to respect his decision, which he attributes to divine will.
Appreciation was extended to the people of Zone One and Kaduna State for their continued support, prayers, and goodwill toward Hon. Sani Sha’aban. The announcement was signed by Ahmad Bamalli on behalf of the family.
