As part of efforts to support vulnerable members of the community and provide relief to families facing economic challenges, Ikeja Local Government has distributed food items to 1,000 residents
The distribution, held at the Ikeja Local Government Secretariat, saw beneficiaries receive packaged food items provided by the council as part of its social intervention programme.
during the exercise, the council Chairman, Akeem Dauda, reaffirmed his commitment to prioritising the welfare of residents, particularly those in need, while strengthening community support initiatives.
The exercise was held under the theme, “Caring for our People, Supporting our Community, Building a Better Ikeja,” underscoring the council’s focus on improving the well-being of residents and building a more supportive community.
