The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, has performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Idera Primary Health Centre, a project aimed at expanding access to quality healthcare for residents.

According to the council chairman, the facility will feature consultation rooms, treatment rooms, a modern laboratory, a pharmacy, maternity services, child immunisation, antenatal and postnatal care, family planning, health screening and treatment for common illnesses.

Community leaders and other dignitaries commended the initiative, expressing confidence that the health centre, expected to be completed within six months, will significantly improve primary healthcare delivery for residents of Idera and surrounding communities.
