The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has presented the Certificate of Return to Hon. Kalamu Usman Maijama’a, winner of the Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency bye-election.
The certificate was presented at the INEC headquarters in Abuja by the National Commissioner supervising Gombe State, Rear Admiral Jamila Abubakar Sadiq Malafa, on behalf of INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash O. Amupitan, SAN.
Maijama’a emerged winner of the bye-election held on September 19, 2026.
