The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has adjusted the arrival and examination times for candidates participating in the first session of the 2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Under the revised schedule, candidates are now expected to arrive at their designated Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres by 7:30 a.m., replacing the earlier 6:30 a.m. arrival time.
The examination will commence at 8:30 a.m. and end at 10:30 a.m., according to the revised schedule.
JAMB explained that the adjustment was made in response to concerns affecting candidates who travel considerable distances to their examination centres and may have to leave their homes before dawn.
The Board said the revised timing is intended to make the examination process more convenient and reduce the difficulties associated with early-morning travel for candidates.
Candidates are therefore advised to take note of the new arrival and examination times and make adequate preparations ahead of the 2027 UTME.
