The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced a new system that allows candidates to upload and verify their O’Level results from the comfort of their homes.
Under the new arrangement, JAMB will verify candidates’ results directly with examination bodies, starting with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), eliminating the need for candidates to visit Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres for the process.
JAMB’s Acting Director of Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin, said the initiative is part of the Board’s efforts to make its services easier, faster, safer and more convenient for candidates.
The Board explained that the technology-driven process is expected to reduce unnecessary trips to CBT centres, long queues and manual procedures associated with O’Level result verification.
The initiative is also expected to improve the efficiency of the admission process while providing candidates with a more convenient way to complete their requirements.
