The Kano State Government has hosted a Saudi-backed medical outreach at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, where 52 patients received free urological surgeries.
The six-day specialist programme was conducted by medical experts from Saudi Arabia under the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, with a focus on vulnerable residents who could not afford specialised surgical care.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf commended the Saudi government and the medical team for supporting residents in need of specialised healthcare.
The outreach marks the fourth time a Saudi medical team has conducted a surgical intervention in Kano.
