Ahead of the 2027 elections, the Public Servants Movement for Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat (KOH) paid a courtesy visit to the management of Lagos Television (LTV) on Monday to seek media support and drive engagement for continuity in governance.
The delegation, led by the Movement’s Convener, Mrs. Bola Sanuth, was officially received by the General Manager of Lagos Television, Mr. Kayode Oyekanmi.
During the visit, Mrs. Sanuth commended Mr. Oyekanmi for his visionary leadership in repositioning the station. She emphasized that public servants are critical stakeholders in driving political outcomes and must leverage their influence to support Dr. Hamzat’s campaign.
“Public servants are influencers in their own right, and all hands must be on deck to ensure a resounding victory for Dr. Hamzat at the polls,” Mrs. Sanuth noted. “To lay the groundwork, we have already conducted continuous voter registration drives across strategic locations, which saw impressive participation from civil servants.”
She further appealed for LTV’s partnership as the group prepares to host an upcoming Annual Stakeholders’ Symposium designed to mobilize public servants en masse.
Welcoming the delegation, the General Manager of Lagos Television, Mr. Kayode Oyekanmi, reaffirmed his commitment to the cause, describing the public service as his core constituency.
“I am ready to lend my support to the actualization of this vision,” Oyekanmi stated. “I commend the group for taking the initiative with voter registration awareness among public servants and urge you to remain steadfast in your efforts.”
