The Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with global non-profit organisation, Both Ends Believing (BEB), to enhance child protection and improve the welfare of children in alternative care through a data-driven approach.
The partnership will strengthen child identification, documentation, care planning, family tracing, and long-term welfare by deploying the Children First Software, a digital case management system designed to support informed decision-making and improve accountability in child protection.
Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mobolaji Ogunlende, described the collaboration as a major step towards ensuring every vulnerable child in Lagos is identified, protected, and given the opportunity to thrive in a safe and supportive environment.
