The Lagos State Government has held a town hall meeting with key stakeholders as part of efforts to end persistent blackouts and achieve a reliable 24-hour electricity supply across the state.
The meeting focused on addressing challenges affecting power supply, listening to stakeholders’ concerns and strengthening collaboration towards improving electricity access across Lagos.
The state government said reliable electricity is essential to businesses, households and economic growth, stressing its commitment to laying the foundation for stable power to become the norm rather than the exception.
While acknowledging that more work remains, the government reaffirmed its determination to deliver a Lagos where reliable electricity supports the livelihoods and economic activities of residents.
