The Lagos State Government has inaugurated the Lagos State Physical Planning and Building Control Appeals Committee to strengthen fairness, accountability and due process in physical planning and building regulation across the state.
Speaking during the inauguration held at Lagos House, Marina, the state government said the committee would serve as a critical platform for addressing appeals and disputes arising from physical planning and building control matters.

According to the government, the committee is expected to enhance transparency in the administration of planning regulations while ensuring that residents and stakeholders are given fair hearing in line with established laws and procedures.
The inauguration underscores the government’s commitment to promoting orderly development, sustainable urban planning and effective building control mechanisms in Lagos State.
