The Lagos State Office of Physical Planning has recognised two exceptional officers with its Second Quarter Officer of the Quarter Awards in appreciation of their outstanding performance, dedication and commitment to public service.
Presenting the awards, the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr. Oluyinka Olumide, said the initiative was introduced to motivate excellence and reward exceptional service. He urged staff to remain committed to professionalism and improved service delivery. The Chairman of the House Committee on Physical Planning and Urban Development, Hon. Sylvester Ogunkelu, and the Permanent Secretary, Tpl. Adebayo Wasiu, also commended the recipients and encouraged all staff to strive for greater excellence.
Tpl. Raji Sikiru Abimbola, Chief Town Planning Officer, received the Management Officer of the Quarter Award, while Mr. Michael Ubong Samuel, Chief Clerical Officer, was named Junior Officer of the Quarter. Responding on behalf of the awardees, Abimbola thanked the management for the recognition and pledged continued dedication to excellence and efficient service delivery.
