The Lagos State Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA), in partnership with Fidelity Bank Plc, has trained 400 proprietors, school leaders and administrators of yet-to-be-approved private schools on regulatory requirements and the school approval process.
The one-day free Approval Intervention Workshop was held on Thursday at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Alausa, Ikeja, as part of efforts to support private schools in meeting the standards required for official approval.
According to the Lagos State Government, the training was designed to help participating schools better understand the regulatory framework, documentation and procedures involved in obtaining approval from the state education authorities.
The initiative also aims to promote compliance with established standards and strengthen the delivery of safe, quality and effective education across Lagos State.
