A landslide has struck a car park on Japan’s Mount Fuji, partially burying three vehicles amid heavy rain and strong winds.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, just a day before the end of the mountain’s summer climbing season.
A local official said the affected vehicles belonged to workers on Mount Fuji and were parked near one of the volcano’s four main access gates.
No casualties have been reported so far, while authorities continue to assess the impact of the landslide.
