The Lagos State College of Health Technology (LASCOHET) has conducted its post-UTME screening examination for applicants seeking admission into the college for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The Computer-Based Test (CBT) Examination was held at the Lagos State University (LASU) CBT Centre, Ojo, providing prospective students with a conducive and standardised environment for the screening exercise.
The exercise formed part of the College’s admission process for candidates who applied for various programmes offered by the College. Applicants were subjected to a computer-based assessment designed to evaluate their suitability for admission into their chosen programme.
Addressing applicants at the CBT centre, the Provost of the College, Prof Raheem Akewushola, commended the applicants for their orderly conduct and urged them to remain patient and vigilant as the college concludes the admission process.
Prof Akewushola informed the candidates that Lagos State College of Technology remains one of the foremost and outstanding health institutions in Lagos and Nigeria, and is committed to providing excellent health education to ensure that Graduates from the college remain the best health care providers in the State and in the Nation.
The Provost reiterated that the institution is committed to maintaining transparency, merit, and due process in its admission procedures, noting that admission into the College is strictly based on established requirements and the performance of candidates.
The successful completion of the Post-UTME exercise marks another step towards the admission of qualified candidates into LASCOHET for 2026/ 2027 academic session, as the College continues its mandate of producing competent and professionally equipped allied health personnel for Lagos State in particular and Nigeria as a whole.
