The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) has responded to two separate incidents across Lagos, including a fire outbreak at Oke-Arin, Mushin, and a broken-down vehicle at the 7UP area.
The agency said its Alpha Eagle Team, deployed from Cappa Base, received a distress alert about the fire at No. 14, Oke-Arin Street, Mushin, at 1:26 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
On arrival, responders found a room on the top floor of a storey building engulfed in flames.
A coordinated operation involving the Eagle Response Team, LASEMA Response Unit Fire Team and the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service brought the fire under control.
The fire was completely extinguished and the affected area dampened to prevent the flames from spreading to adjoining structures.
LASEMA also responded to a broken-down vehicle around the 7UP area, where its team recovered the vehicle to restore the free flow of traffic.
The agency reaffirmed its commitment to responding promptly to emergencies and protecting lives and property across Lagos.
