The Lagos State Government has announced a temporary traffic diversion to facilitate the reconstruction of the Anthony Village Bus Stop, urging motorists to comply with the new traffic arrangements throughout the duration of the project.
According to the government, the diversion is part of efforts to ensure the safe and timely completion of the reconstruction works while minimising disruption to commuters and other road users.
Motorists have been advised to use alternative routes and obey traffic signs, while officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) will be deployed to strategic locations to manage vehicular movement and reduce congestion.
The government appealed to residents and road users for patience and cooperation, assuring them that the project is aimed at improving traffic flow, enhancing commuter safety and upgrading transport infrastructure in line with the state’s urban development agenda.
Residents are encouraged to plan their journeys ahead and allow extra travel time during the construction period.
