The Lagos State Government has presented financial assistance cheques to 473 beneficiaries under the Eko Cares Financial Assistance Programme, as part of efforts to support vulnerable residents and improve livelihoods across the state.
The presentation ceremony was held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at the Office of Political, Legislative and Civic Engagement, Alausa, Ikeja.
The cheques were presented on behalf of the Lagos State Government by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political, Legislative and Civic Engagement, Dr. Afolabi Abiodun Tajudeen, and the Permanent Secretary of the Office, Engr. Sholabomi Shasore.
The beneficiaries, drawn from different parts of Lagos State, received the financial support to address pressing needs, strengthen their livelihoods and improve their overall well-being.
The initiative underscores the state government’s commitment to providing targeted assistance and supporting residents in need.
