The Lagos State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the real estate sector through professionalism, transparency and regulatory compliance.
The Coordinating Director of the Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (LASRERA), ESV. Mrs. Temitope Akinbola, stated this at the General Meeting of the Estate Rent and Commission Agents Association of Nigeria (E.R.C.A.A.N.) held at the Secretariat Hall, Igando-Ikotun LCDA.
The meeting, themed “Importance and Benefits of LASRERA Licence to Real Estate Practitioners in Lagos State,” provided an opportunity for LASRERA to educate practitioners on the importance of obtaining the appropriate permit and complying with relevant regulations.
Akinbola explained that the LASRERA permit confirms that practitioners are registered and recognised to operate in the state, while also enhancing their credibility and giving clients greater confidence in their services.
She added that licensed practitioners could benefit from professional development programmes, stakeholder engagements and networking opportunities organised by the Authority.
Akinbola assured stakeholders that the state government would continue to engage real estate practitioners, provide platforms for dialogue and introduce initiatives aimed at improving professionalism and service delivery across the sector.
The event culminated in the presentation of LASRERA permits to members of E.R.C.A.A.N.
