The Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has announced the release of the merit admission list for candidates seeking admission into Lagos State Model Colleges and Upgraded Secondary Schools.
In a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Abisola Dokunmu-Adegbite, the Ministry disclosed that candidates who participated in the May 2026 screening test can now check their admission status.
According to the statement, the admission list has been uploaded to the Lagos State Examinations Board portal and is available to candidates and parents from Tuesday, 22 July 2026.
Successful candidates are advised to log on to the portal to verify their admission status before proceeding to their respective schools from Monday, 31 August 2026, to collect their admission letters and complete the registration process.
The Ministry congratulated the successful candidates and urged parents and guardians to ensure that their wards complete all registration formalities within the stipulated period.
It reaffirmed the Lagos State Government’s commitment to expanding access to quality education while sustaining a transparent and merit-based admission process into its Model Colleges and Upgraded Secondary Schools.
