The Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (LASRERA) has taken its sensitisation campaign to the Lekki and Obalende areas, urging real estate practitioners, developers and organisations to register and comply with the Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority Law, 2022.
Speaking during the exercise at LASRERA’s newly opened office on Omorinre Johnson Street, Lekki Phase 1, the Coordinating Director, ESV Mrs. Temitope Akinbola, said the initiative was part of efforts to sanitise the sector through continuous stakeholder engagement and public awareness.
Akinbola advised members of the public to engage only registered real estate practitioners and verify their registration status before entering into property transactions. She noted that dealing with registered practitioners would help protect property seekers from fraudulent activities while promoting professionalism and accountability.
LASRERA reaffirmed its commitment to protecting stakeholders and building a more transparent, efficient and investor-friendly real estate sector through sustained sensitisation campaigns across Lagos State.
