The Association of Resident Doctors, LASUTH (LASUTH-ARD), has officially suspended its industrial action, which began on September 11, 2026, following high-level discussions with the Lagos State Government.
The government said key issues raised by the doctors were addressed, with a final implementation target set for late November 2026 to allow time for administrative verification and approval processes.
Among the resolutions are the payment of promotion and advancement arrears alongside the October salary cycle, processing of the specialist allowance for Senior Registrars on Grade Level 14, and confirmation that the revised Professional Allowance Table arrears for July 2026 were paid with September salaries.
The government also clarified that official Lagos State Government payslips remain the authoritative reference for the breakdown of salary components.
