The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) has launched its Access to Market initiative to connect Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with customers, commercial partners and new business opportunities.
The initiative was unveiled alongside the Lagos on Display Pop-Up Market 2.0, held at JJT Park, Alausa, Ikeja, from August 6 to 8, 2026, with 300 MSMEs from across Lagos showcasing their products and services.

Speaking at the event, LSETF Director of Programmes and Coordination, Mrs. Oyindamola Egbeyemi, said access to finance and training alone is not enough to guarantee business growth, stressing the importance of connecting entrepreneurs with viable markets.
The Director of Employment at the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, Mr. Lateef Demilola Shitta, said the initiative would help bridge the gap between business capacity and access to customers and commercial opportunities.

He noted that the programme is built around three key objectives: Showcase, Connect and Grow, providing entrepreneurs with platforms to display their products, connect with buyers and partners, and establish relationships that can support long-term expansion.
The initiative also provides loan application support and business advisory services, while sister agencies including LASHMA, LIRS and LASSRA participated to provide entrepreneurs with access to relevant government services.
