The Parastatal Monitoring Office (PMO) has commended the Lagos State Film and Video Censors Board (LSFVCB) for its outstanding performance in service delivery and the effective execution of its statutory mandate.
The commendation followed a working visit and assessment of the Board at its office in Alausa, Ikeja, on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
The PMO delegation was led by the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Parastatal Monitoring, Hon. Ibrahim Babajide Obanikoro.
Speaking during the visit, the Permanent Secretary, PMO, Dr. Aina Ayoola, commended the leadership and staff of LSFVCB for their exemplary performance across almost all areas of assessment.
He noted that the Board’s operations and achievements align with the THEMES Plus Development Agenda of the present administration as well as the Lagos State Development Plan (LSDP).
Dr. Ayoola urged the management of the Board to sustain its current standard of performance while seeking opportunities for further improvement ahead of the next assessment cycle.
In her remarks, the Executive Secretary/CEO of LSFVCB, Mrs. Adebukola Agbaminoja, who hosted the delegation alongside the Board’s Directors and Heads of Department, delivered a detailed presentation highlighting the Board’s statutory mandate, operations, achievements, and contributions to the development of the film and video industry in Lagos State.
The presentation also provided an overview of the Board’s activities and initiatives aimed at strengthening regulatory standards and ensuring effective service delivery in line with the objectives of the Lagos State Government.
Also on the PMO delegation was the Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Parastatal Monitoring, Mrs. Temitope Adebutu-Obasanjo, alongside Directors and other officials from the Parastatal Monitoring Office.
The visit provided an opportunity for the PMO to assess the Board’s performance, review its activities, and identify areas for continuous improvement in the discharge of its responsibilities.
