In a dramatic post-final decision, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially declared Morocco as winners of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 Final following a ruling by its Appeal Board.

According to the statement, CAF applied Article 84 of its regulations and determined that Senegal forfeited the final match. As a result, the game has been awarded as a 3–0 victory in favor of the Fédération Royale Marocaine de Football (FRMF).

The decision overturns the original outcome of the highly anticipated final and hands Morocco the continental title under extraordinary circumstances, marking one of the most controversial conclusions in AFCON history.
