The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced that future recruitment exercises will now be conducted annually, following the release of the final list of 3,852 successful candidates for the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.
Comptroller-General of Customs Adewale Adeniyi said the new recruitment model is aimed at improving manpower planning and ensuring the timely replacement of retiring personnel.
He disclosed that the 2026 recruitment exercise will commence later this year and be concluded within the same calendar year.
Adeniyi also encouraged unsuccessful applicants to reapply, assuring them that future recruitment processes would be faster and more predictable.
