The Nigeria Immigration Service has announced a dedicated passport intervention exercise in the United Kingdom, aimed at easing passport application and renewal processes for Nigerians in the diaspora.
The intervention team is scheduled to arrive in the UK on August 10, 2026, and will work with the Nigerian High Commission to facilitate the processing and issuance of pending, new and renewal passport applications.
The exercise will cover designated cities across the UK, with details of the locations and enrolment dates to be announced separately.
Nigerians with pending applications, new applicants and holders of passports with less than one year remaining are encouraged to take advantage of the intervention.
