The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released fresh guidelines for prospective corps members ahead of the upcoming orientation exercise, urging them to avoid night travel and complete all registration requirements before arriving at camp.
In a notice shared on its official X account, the scheme warned that candidates with discrepancies between the graduation date on their call-up letters and their statements of results will not be registered. It advised affected candidates to resolve such issues through their respective student affairs officers before reporting to camp.
The NYSC also instructed prospective corps members to print and sign their registration forms before proceeding to the orientation camp and outlined the process for correcting dates of birth through the NYSC portal using a WAEC Verification PIN.
The scheme urged all candidates to comply with the guidelines to ensure a smooth and hitch-free registration process during the orientation exercise.
