The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has directed tertiary institutions responsible for producing corps members to thoroughly verify the records of their graduates before submitting them for mobilisation.
The NYSC warned that inaccurate information, manipulation of records, and the submission of unqualified candidates could undermine the credibility and integrity of the national service scheme.
NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, gave the warning on Friday at the opening of the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Pre-Mobilisation Workshop.
