The Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area has distributed free GCE forms to indigent students in the council as part of efforts to promote education and expand opportunities for young people.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony held at the Council Hall, the Executive Chairman, Dr. Seyi Jakande, said the initiative was designed to ease the financial burden on parents and guardians while ensuring that students from less privileged backgrounds are not denied the opportunity to pursue their educational goals.
The beneficiaries were selected through a process aimed at identifying students in need of financial assistance to register for the examination.
Dr. Jakande reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to investing in education, stressing that supporting young people is crucial to building a brighter future and fostering sustainable development in the community.
