Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye LCDA has marked one year of visible, accessible, and impactful leadership with a mega empowerment programme worth ₦500 million.
The initiative is designed to improve the quality of life of the people, create opportunities, develop infrastructure, and build a community where prosperity is accessible to all.
In commemoration of his first 365 days in office, the Executive Chairman of Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye LCDA, Dr. Seyi Jakande, presented empowerment tools to over 600 vocational trainees.
He also provided special support for businesses and individuals, financial support for 302 Street Assistants, and nine commercial buses to qualified residents.
In addition, the administration gave out empowerment grants to residents and small businesses, and commissioned the Kayode Primary Healthcare Centre alongside other completed infrastructure projects.
The event was well attended by founding fathers of both Mushin LGA and Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye LCDA, past chairmen, and the APC State Chairman, Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi.among other notable dignitaries.
They charged the beneficiaries to make good use of the empowerment tools to improve their socio-economic status and contribute to the development of society at large.
