The ongoing construction of the new Ojo General Hospital is expected to strengthen specialist healthcare delivery and expand access to quality medical services for residents in Ojo and neighbouring communities.
The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District V, Dr. Oladapo Asiyanbi, led the District’s management team on an inspection of the project on Friday, September 4, 2026, to assess its progress and scope.
The facility, being developed under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES Plus Agenda, is expected to ease pressure on existing healthcare facilities and bring comprehensive secondary healthcare services closer to residents of Ojo LGA, Iba LCDA and Otto-Awori LCDA.
Dr. Asiyanbi also called for community ownership and stakeholder support to ensure the effective utilisation and protection of the facility when completed.
