The sexual offence case involving Nigerian dancer and entertainer, Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, remains active in the United Kingdom, with prosecutors confirming that he is scheduled to appear before the Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 15, 2026.
The Crown Prosecution Service confirmed that the case is still ongoing and that Odinaka is expected to attend a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing, where issues concerning his plea and preparations for trial will be considered. The clarification comes amid reports circulating online that the entertainer had been released from custody and that the case had either been withdrawn or settled out of court.
However, the CPS did not clarify Odinaka’s current custody or bail status. He is facing five sexual offence charges, including attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration. The court has also imposed a reporting restriction to protect the anonymity of the complainant.
Odinaka travelled to the UK in August to perform at Davido and Friends at the Crystal Palace Bowl in London. He has not been convicted of any offence, and the allegations against him remain subject to determination by the court.
