The Jigawa State Police Command has arrested three suspected drug dealers and recovered 5,676 pieces of assorted illicit substances during an intelligence-led operation aimed at combating drug trafficking across the state.
Police spokesperson, SP Shi’isu Adam, said the coordinated raids led to the recovery of Exol, Tramadol, Diazepam, Pregabalin, codeine syrup, suspected cannabis, other prohibited substances and ₦93,626 believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales.
The command said the suspects have been arraigned in court, reaffirming its commitment to intensifying intelligence-led operations against drug trafficking and other criminal activities in the state.
