ABUJA, NIGERIA — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday received the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), His Highness Sheikh Shakhboot Bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, at the State House, Abuja.
The high-level meeting, held on July 7, 2026, highlights the continued diplomatic engagement between Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates, with both countries maintaining strong ties in areas including trade, investment, economic cooperation, and bilateral relations.
The visit provided an opportunity for discussions on strengthening partnerships and exploring areas of mutual interest between Nigeria and the UAE.
President Tinubu has continued to emphasise the importance of strategic international partnerships as part of efforts to attract investment, deepen economic cooperation, and promote Nigeria’s development objectives.
