Champions League winners PSG took the lead through Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, before Aston Villa teenager Brian Madjo scored on his debut to level the game.
Desire Doue restored PSG’s advantage to seal victory and hand the French champions their second consecutive UEFA Super Cup title.
PSG fielded a strong lineup featuring nine players from the team that defeated Arsenal to win the Champions League in May.
The victory further strengthens PSG’s status as Europe’s leading club side following their Champions League triumph.
