Japan’s Sakurajima volcano erupted on Saturday, sending volcanic ash about 2 kilometres into the air over Kyushu’s southern island.
Authorities have issued safety precautions, urging residents and visitors in affected areas to remain alert and follow official guidance as volcanic activity continues to be monitored.
