Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to positioning Lagos as Africa’s leading technology and innovation hub following a meeting with Ms. Trixie LohMirmand, Chief Executive Officer of Kaoun International, organisers of GITEX.
The meeting, held at Lagos House, Marina, focused on strengthening the partnership between Lagos State and GITEX to drive innovation, support startups and attract global investment into the state’s growing digital economy.
Governor Sanwo-Olu said the collaboration reflects the government’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for technology-driven businesses while expanding opportunities for young innovators and entrepreneurs.
According to the governor, the partnership will further accelerate Lagos’ digital transformation agenda by promoting innovation, encouraging investment and fostering inclusive economic growth.
