Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has presented land allocation letters to 98 villages within Ito-Omu and other communities in the Ibeju-Lekki area, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to inclusive development and the protection of community interests.
The presentation marks a significant step in providing legal recognition and land security for affected communities, while promoting orderly development in one of Lagos State’s fastest-growing economic corridors.
Governor Sanwo-Olu said the initiative reflects the government’s resolve to ensure that host communities benefit from ongoing infrastructure and investment projects across the Ibeju-Lekki axis.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to equitable development, sustainable urban planning and improving the welfare of residents through transparent land administration.
