Saudi Arabia has suspended visa-on-arrival access for citizens of 14 countries, including Nigeria, as part of new immigration measures introduced by the Kingdom.
The affected countries include Nigeria, Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, India, Iraq, Sudan, Libya and Yemen.
The adjustment means passport holders from the listed countries will no longer be able to obtain visas on arrival and may be required to follow alternative visa application procedures before travelling to Saudi Arabia.
Reports indicate that the decision is linked to operational adjustments and efforts to manage travel arrangements during periods of increased pilgrimage activity, particularly the Hajj season.
Travellers from the affected countries have been advised to confirm current entry requirements with Saudi diplomatic missions or official visa platforms before making travel arrangements.
Saudi Arabia has continued to expand and revise its visitor visa system as part of broader efforts to regulate international travel and grow tourism under its Vision 2030 programme.
