Vice President Kashim Shettima has represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the official commissioning of the newly constructed Court of Appeal Building in the Dakibiyu District of Abuja.
The new judicial complex is expected to enhance the administration of justice by providing improved facilities and a more conducive working environment for judicial officers and court personnel.
The commissioning underscores the Federal Government’s continued investment in judicial infrastructure and institutional reforms. According to officials, statutory transfers to the judiciary have risen significantly, with about ₦342 billion approved since 2024, compared to the ₦165 billion previously allocated.
The project is part of broader efforts by the administration to strengthen key public institutions and improve service delivery across the country.
The event comes shortly after the commissioning of major road projects in the Kuje and Dape districts by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), highlighting ongoing infrastructure development initiatives within the nation’s capital.
