Vice President Kashim Shettima has represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the graduation ceremony of the National Defence College Course 34.
Delivering the President’s address, Shettima emphasized that national security remains the fundamental foundation for achieving Nigeria’s economic ambitions and securing lasting prosperity.
He noted that the administration considers the safety and protection of lives and property essential to business expansion, stressing that the government’s broader economic agenda is focused on stabilising macroeconomic fundamentals, strengthening local industries and attracting foreign investment.
The Vice President also reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to strengthening the nation’s armed forces and tackling criminal elements, bandits and terrorists.
He said sustained efforts to secure the country remain central to creating the stable environment required for economic growth and national development.
