Dr. Lawan Ahmed Muhammed Sani, son of the late Emir of Gumel Emirate in Jigawa State, has been appointed the 17th Emir of Gumel.
His appointment was approved by Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, just three days after the demise of his father.
The new Emir is expected to take over the traditional leadership of the Gumel Emirate and continue the legacy of his late father.
