Nigeria’s Super Falcons will take on Tanzania’s Twiga Stars in an international friendly on Thursday as they intensify preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
The rescheduled warm-up match will give head coach Justine Madugu another opportunity to assess his squad, test tactical combinations and finalise his starting lineup ahead of the tournament.
The 10-time African champions will begin their WAFCON campaign against Malawi, aiming for a strong start in their quest to reclaim the continental title.
The friendly against Tanzania forms part of the team’s final preparations before the competition gets underway in Morocco this weekend.
