Senator Natasha Enters National Assembly Despite Initial Denial of Access
Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has gained entry into the National Assembly complex in Abuja after initially being denied access.
The Kogi Central lawmaker, currently serving a six-month suspension imposed by the Senate, had vowed to resume legislative duties following a court ruling ordering her reinstatement.
Earlier attempts to enter the complex were blocked as her convoy was stopped at the gate. She was inside a black vehicle when security personnel denied her entry. The vehicle ahead, which carried prominent activist Aisha Yesufu, was also barred from accessing the premises.
Undeterred, Senator Natasha exited her car and proceeded into the National Assembly on foot, accompanied by a group of supporters.
