Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a ₦30 reduction in the ex-depot (gantry) price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, lowering the price from ₦850 to ₦820 per litre.
The announcement was made in a statement issued by the Refinery’s Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, who noted that the new price took effect on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
The statement emphasized that the price cut reflects the Refinery’s strong commitment to national development and its promise to maintain a steady and reliable supply of petroleum products.
It also revealed that, beginning August 15, 2025, Dangote Petroleum Refinery will begin the gradual rollout of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks for fuel distribution nationwide, as part of its drive toward sustainable energy and operational efficiency.
