The Federal Government has directed the withdrawal of the legal case against Comfort Emmanson, the passenger involved in the August 10 incident aboard an Ibom Air flight.
This follows her remand at Kirikiri Prison after allegedly assaulting a flight attendant and confronting security personnel.
Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo announced the decision on Wednesday, stating it was made after consultations with key aviation stakeholders and parties involved in recent airport incidents.
The move, according to Keyamo, is part of efforts to address issues surrounding airport conduct with balance and fairness.
