Voting has officially concluded in the by-elections held across 13 states to fill vacant seats in 16 constituencies. According to INEC, the elections covered two senatorial districts, five federal constituencies, and nine state assembly seats.
Sorting and counting of ballots have now commenced in polling units across the affected states: Jigawa, Edo, Ogun, Oyo, Adamawa, Anambra, Kaduna, Kano, Taraba, Kogi, Niger, Enugu, and Zamfara.
Voting took place between 8:30 am and 2:30 pm, with a re-run also scheduled in parts of Enugu and Kano.
